Devialet Dione is an all-in-one Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar that brings Devialet’s acoustic engineering to the television, with no separate subwoofer to place. In Matte Black it reads as a long, low line, 1200 mm wide and 77 mm tall.
Seventeen drivers sit inside, eight of them long-throw subwoofers. At the centre is the ORB®, a sphere that serves as the centre channel and adjusts itself for a wall or a cabinet; the wall-mount guide and fittings come in the box. Devialet’s processing opens stereo sources out to 5.1.2 and keeps dialogue and loud scenes at an even volume.
One HDMI cable connects it to the TV, and the TV remote then controls it. For music there are AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth, and Dione can join a Phantom multiroom setup. Our team can arrange a demo at T-Space Tampines, Singapore, on request.
